Lots of folks have lots of opionins about the military. My dad was a drill sargent-literally-and so I in my youth wanted to join. But due to some health problems and issues I was never accepted into any of the branches of the miltary. You can say what you want to about them I only have one thing to say to anyone who has or is serving- Thank you for your sacrifice of time, life, limbs,or family. Whether you agree with the policy or practices of our service men and women isn't relavent. If you enjoy any of the freedoms that we have then you owe a debt of gratitude to our government and those who are in the military.
I do sometimes complain about things but the real complaint is that they just don't do the things they should fast enough and there are to many softies that don't understand so the government has to take some things slow so as not to upset those people. Freedom comes as at a great price and those who have served and are still serving make all of our freedoms possible.
Don't disparage those who make our freedoms possible. With out our freedoms and the service of those who have fought and died before we wouldn't have the ability to even sit a computer and express our opinons about if we are free or if we should be in the military or not.
Those who serve are truly the heros. The same is true of any of our public service workers fire, police, border patrol, you name it.
For those who feel the same, good. For those who don't take a better look at the past and realize how big of a debt we truly do owe these people. I'll get off my soap box now. I still have a transmission to rebuild.
