Thanks junior,for your post on the info. My 1947 WDX (in pieces now of course) was completely painted gray except the dash and it was black. You think it was a Coast Guard, or Navy destined truck ? Or would the Federal Government buy new that soon after the war? It's a very late '46 or early'47 model built at the Los Angeles plant.
