Canadian Dollar vs US Dollar

In May 2002 I considered buying repro bedsides from Canada at $2600 Canadian dollars ($1669 US). Since then the US dollar has continued to fall:

I'd buy some of Canadian beer to cope with the US dollar going to hell but I can't afford it! And, by the way, I'm now ready to purchase the bedsides! Dave Maher where are you when we need you!
