Piston ring grove fit, need some help.....

I checked the piston ring to piston ring grove and I'm .002 to tight.
The manual says .005 and all I can get is .003 for a clearence.

1. Should I send the pistons/rings back?

2. Should I file the grove rings in the piston?

3. Should I sand the rings by .002?

4. Live with it and posible ring failure?
