I started working on the windshield this weekend to replace the glass and I thought I had better treat the frame like gold and "ask the experts". How do you separate the two halves of the windshield? I had to drill out most of the screws on each end of the frame and I've been soaking it with liquid wrench but there is no movement. Should I cut the small 1/4" metal the screws go into at the seam and then replace them later? How does the middle post attach to the frame? Judging by previous posts on how hard it is to get a good frame, I don't want to use the BFH yet. Thanks in advance for any advice.
