I use Frame Bolts they are grade 8 and have special heads and nuts. They lock onto the bolt and have sholders. Very strong and have never had one come loose yet. I have held anywhere from 12,000 to 25,000 lb water tank loads with them no problem. I fish plated a frame with 8-3/4" ones on each side and the GVW of the truck was 32,000 lbs. Never had a problem and it was off road and flexed a lot. Mark H.
