simular to a dust explosion..wheres when the can finally breeched, the pressurized vapors escaped and consumed a large volume of space in the garage and then were ignited by the open flame in the heater, thus the explosion was not actually the can but the surrounding air in the better part of the garage that expanded when the ignition occurred! I'll bet the guy will be seeing stsrs or cans for a while! The percussion must have been great!
