Another likely problem is moisture in the hydraulic fluid. Unless you religiously drain it and replace it with the proper fluid every year, and even if you do, it is possible for condensation to develop and it will freeze and your plow will not work. The safest solution is to get the truck in a heated area and wait until it warms enough to thaw the ice. Another way is to carefully heat the pump housing all around with a propane torch. If this solves the problem, you need to replace the fluid. JH
