Considering that the Cummins has more torque and horsepower than the International, you may have some other issues going on with the fuel economy, such as a restricted (dirty) air cleaner or some other problem. Even loaded with 4:10 gears and several tons of tools, I get 12-16 mpg in LA traffic and 16-22 on the highway. It would be better but I have a right foot disease....= )
