No-Spark Question... Help please

Still no spark.... Changed the points, condensor, plugs, coil, all wires. And still, no spark....

Just before the FF stopped running, I remember hearing a back-fire and felt some rough idling. Then it shut off...

What is the next step???? Is it likely that the timing chain slipped? If so, would that account for the no-spark condition or should I still have spark but no run?

The motor turns fine... Just wont start...
Oh yea, the fuel is good so that isnt the issue.
