Fuel Pump Question... Help Please

Went out to give the FF some running time. Started right up as usual. Pulled it outside to let it warm up and idle a while. After a few minutes it began to run rough, cough, then cut off. After some effort I got it to restart. Then the cycle repeated itself several times. The fuel tank is full of new fuel, the plugs , wires, etc are fine. Im thinking the fuel pump may be going bad.

How do I check to see if this is the case? If not the fuel pump, other ideas?
