Mega-Squirt build-it-yourself EFI is good to consider, but makes no extra power over a
good carb. EFI gives better driveability
when cold, slightly better economy. Most
slant six racers use carbs.

The easy upgrade is a BBD 2 barrel from the Super Six. Real power from the slant six
comes from valve and head work, the OEM head
is restrictive.

The slant six can be quick in a light car.
