did you do ray's mod for rotating the power steering bracket? if not, that might be the problem. from looking at it, it appears that your waterpump / pulley combo is not 'correct'. by not correct, i meant that i scavenged 3 trucks with 318-360s (new and old) to come up with the right combo. click the link to my conversion as a picture might help. look at the pics of the swinging engine as i think you will see how to work the routing. you might need a 2 groove water pump pulley. also see the bracket mod pics
