I don't have super high expectation of a Nissan Diesel, but I thought I would try one out before I spent a bunch of time and money putting a 4bt in my Wagoneer. I need an education on the Scouts. For instance, why is 1980 the year to get?

I would consider a Traveler, but the Travelall is too big for a cross country trail truck, and I'd like to have another convertible truck if I sell my Bronco.
