buy the new angle front/rear braces from
VPW. note: regards those that people say have failed - the failure could have been caused by someone welding on the brace which changes the strength.
best bet if you have doubts is to get new ones and correct fasteners.
also if the parts book does not show shims
then the winch does not require them
perhaps there is someone near you that has
a pw with original winch that you could take
some measurements of to see where your parts
are off
