230 crank pulley removal

Hey gearheads!
I have to tear down my PW's 230 to remove a broken valve lifter. What's the best way to remove the main pulley (vibration damper)on one of these? Also, all my original service manuals talk about a main cover realignment tool when putting it all back together. Anyone out there know where i can find one, or a "shadetree" alternative.
