Hi Paul,
This truck we are looking has heavy duty disc brakes on the front and heavy duty drum brakes on the rear. Every other one of these truck we have looked had the drum brakes on the front. Thats the main reason I chose this truck. Also the front end and rear have all new bearings, bushings brakes and gaskets and has been totally rebuilt.
Also the engine runs very strong doesn't burn any oil and has been well maintained through the years. I intend on have a good tow package professionally installed with trailer brakes.
My dad taught me to drive rather than sending me through drivers education, and I also learned alot from my father-in-law who helped too teach me to drive commercial truck. I now have my CDL and drive a 53' tanker truck all over the Portland metropolitian area so I understand about the Idiots on the road these days.
