On the subject of Studebaker 4x4s

Sometime in the early '80s, Old Cars newspaper (I believe it was) ran a story of two brothers who restored two late '50s 4x4 trucks that looked just like the Studebakers. I believe these were Pakards. The two trucks were nearly identical and only about a year apart. They were planning to use them as daily drivers on their farms. I believe they were in Minnesota or another northern state. Anyone remember this or have any further information?
