wheel (rim) failure comes from overstress (overload), wrong size (too large) tire for wheel, or Radial tire on a wheel not designed and marked for Radial Tires
Radial tires put stresses on wheel that old style bias construction to not
check your wheel numbers & see what you have
where are the cracks
if the cracks are on the mounting flange then
you have a different problem some duals only mount one way & improper installation will cause crack in the mounting flange
