What Has A 124" Wheelbase?

I've got a flat fender that has been pieced together out of a bunch of other trucks. It's registered as a 46 (VIN starts T137), has wheels date coded 42, has a cab & hood off an old 40's 2 ton truck, has an offset rear differential, but has some olive drab paint left on the radiator shroud, trans has a rear output PTO, and it has a 124" wheelbase, which is 2 inches shorter than a regular Power Wagon is supposed to be. What could it started life as?
