Interesting that you think you can "tell" vacuum pressure by "twisting" the distributor back and forth and "tell" a distibutor curve by twisting spring wires...
Max idle is not max vacuum, in fact vacuum decrease as rpm increases.
Timing light settings are fine for stock vehicles set at stock settings, worthless for anything else.
