Lore is that full circle clips prevent the clip from coming loose, but I've only seen them come out in very worn down engines. Full circle clips are 2 turns of a flat spring- like a circlip that goes around an extra time. HMMM, if the wrist pin rattled out and struck the top edge of the slot it had milled into the cylinder, it might stop the engine ASAP, thereby shattering the disc, meanwhile the other cylinders have enough momentum to break the crank?
Might be able to sleeve #6, reuse 5 pistons, replace the crank, 1 rod, 1 piston, and clutch assembly....maybe have a machinist look at it?
