My son (he is 12 and had a blast doing it) finished disassembling the flat six with the broken crank today. The number six cylinder lost a wrist pin clip. The pin then came out and scored the cylinder wall. The crank was broken in half under the number 6 rod. The clutch us completely exploded , only the center was left. What was not stuck between the flywheel and the pressure plate was in the clutch cover. The engine was really clean inside .I dont think it had many miles on it since it's rebuild .The block was bored .040 and the rods and mains cut .020 acording to the rebuild tag. The $ 64,000 is what caused what. Anybody care to take a guess. I do wonder if any driveline damage could have happened when it popped or vice-versa.
