Waking an old engine.

I have put mistery oil down the cyliners and I have filled the engine with about nine quarts of cheap oil. I tried turning the engine over with the fan blade several times with no result. Tomarrow I am going to put a battery in it and try bumping the starter a couple of times to free the engine. If this is a bad idea please email me before tomarrow. Thanks for your help. I assume you are leaving the spark plugs out - chriscase 8:20PM 12/15/2004
