There were pre war 1934 1 1/2 or 2 ton 4wds, I have seen a couple in old movies, etc, but for the most part regular market Dodge trucks were 2wd until 1946.

The VCs were built for a Military test, and found wanting (they were too weak, hence the WC 1/2 ton series of trucks), so I doubt any were made for the public to buy.
