ok...so i'm searching ebay these last couple of weeks for a newer 3500 with a cummins, and see this one (i'll put in a link but the item was removed today), a 2004 with only 11K on the odometer.
note at the top of the auction page says you hafta email the seller and be "pre-approved" to bid.
i emailed the seller with a couple of questions and this is what i got back as a response:
Hi,
Thank you for your interest!
I have for sale
2004 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 11,000 miles
The speedometer is in miles, US specs!
I am a private seller not a shop and since I moved recently in Greece (my wife is Greek), I've wanted to import this beautie here and sell it for a greater price and indeed prices here are higher, but european regulations and import taxes made me change my mind and now I am paying for shipping it back to US and I need to sell it quick because I might lose it if I don't register it here and I don't want to do that, it costs me a lot!
The car is, completely working, low miles. You will receive your car in 5
working days by Lufthansa air cargo insured at your home address. You will get the package with proper custom papers, clear title, bill of sale signed by me as well, the car will be shipped dry, no fuel to your closest airport and then will be trailed to your door. Registering it will be very easy.
The price include shipping costs and the insurance and you only pay for the money transfer commission when you wire the funds, which is about 4% from the total amount sent. You will not have to pay for customs or any additional taxes when it arrives in your country. There may be some customs for you to pay, but if you wish we can avoid them: you'll declare you send money to a friend and I will declare the shipping as a gift/donation.
The payment is fully refundable. If for any reason you do not accept the car, I will even pay for the shipping back to my location if you reject the car but since it is like new, barely been ridden, I think it would not get to this.
Waiting for your email.
Regards,
Andrew
sheesh! i dont think so!
