It has a 1 piece type front axle, just like a WDX Power Wagon, without removeable cover, just bigger. It has leather boots that cover the ball and trunion on the steering knuckle.
I figured it had taller gears than the W500 since it went pretty good (50 MPH at 2850 RPM) on the Interstate.
Maby a Eaton axle made specifically for IHC?
Ken Dunnington may have some hubs, and John Eickhof has a assortment also.
I really need to get out there and crawl around it a bit more. I'm just busy trying to get all my acorns in before the snow starts flying!!!!
