Allright fellas, I'm fired up about the Tucker now. Seems to be enough of us with them in the NW to put together a trailride this winter! What say? Marty and I just got back from Reno this weekend with the '55 and the '57 IHC A160 4x4 hauler.
850 mile trip in the '57 and no major problems untill I lost the electrical feed to the fuel pump in Medford. Just rewired direct to the battery on the side of the I-5 and no more problems. It was a quick 2 day trip down and back. We spent the night in Susanville, CA. I wanted to stay in Reno, but my choice of lodging facilities (The Mustang) was closed. HaHaHa!!!!
The binder is a awesome truck! A great driving "big" 4x4. I just need to get some hubs up front.
Anyone know what axles A160's use? I know they have 6.10 gears, so I dont think they are rockwells, although the transfer case is a Rockwell.
