I finally found my engine # T306 991 I think it is actually the original for a 1954. To bad it has a loud tap, I think it is one of the lifters. Does the "T" in front of the serial nos. mean "truck"? Most of the flat heads I own have a"P" which means Plymouth, I think? any help is appreciated. Dana
