I have a 1946 WDX, built at the Los Angeles plant.
On both sides of the hood just below the center louvers are two small hoizonally punched holes.
Looking in Monty Montgomery's Power Wagon book page 14 is a WC-54,clearly visable are two rivets in those holes. Not having ready access to a like vehicle, what was the reason for this?
I'm guessing here, but being my WDX is so very early,Dodge was using left over WC series side panels?
My 1950 FFPW I'm now restoring doesn't have these punched holes.
Regards,Mark
