My Dodge Shop manual (WM-300) shows the front and rear propeller shafts as you installed them, splined (male) end towards T case. The splined (male) end of the intermediate propeller shaft faces the Transmission. My Military manual for WC also show it the same way, as does the M-37 Manual.
