Driveshafts

Took out all my driveshafts, sandblasted them, sprayed them with Por-15 and replaced alll of the U-joints. Putting them back in, I couldnt recall how the transmission to transfer case shaft went. The other 2 shafts have the sliding splined ends toward the transfer case. I checked various manuals and see illustrations both ways. If memory serves, page 30 or 33 of the owners manual has 2 drawings of the transfer case, one of which has the splined end toward the transfer case and the other with it opposite. ON THE SAME BLOODY PAGE! Does it matter? I installed it with the splined end on the transmission which put all 3 slip sections attached to the transfer case.
