{{Any comments from the experts out there as to what kind of civvie cab this is or whatever? The driver's door has no lock cylinder, but the passenger door does.

Last question: If I take the lock cylinder to a locksmith or two, might they be ablt to cut a key for it? Or is the key blank no longer available?}}

Dodge only put the lock on the right doors until the late 50's or early 60's. This was so the driver would get out on the passenger side in traffic when he was locking it. It also came in handy for storage when fleets were parked, say for a holiday. A truck would be parked with the drivers door against the wall, the next one would be right up against the right side and so on.

A good locksmith can cut the key for you. Be sure to pull the lock out as it has to be done and why pay them to do it. Key blanks have never been trouble for me. The keys look entirely different but are available.
