Got an old 76 Dodge parts truck I am about to cut up into a pickup bed trailer. I would like to paint it to match my 74 truck and use it.
Questions are does anyone have a set of photo's/ideas/plans that would show a nice healthy setup for the tongue and hitch area of it. If possible I would like this trailer to be able to go on highway trips and not worry about it weeving back and forth or not pulling good. Anything I need to do to the Dana 60 rear end or just let it spin?
I figure everything will need to be centered real well. After making a T out of new steel and welding I would then heat the frame and fold in to the new steel T and weld the old frame to the new T.
Is it even possible to make a pickup bed trailer that could be towed at highway speeds and long distances or is it just gonna be a slow trip to the city dump trailer?
