Trust me, my Dodge 1 ton with the Dana 80 rear, and Dana 60 front is a pretty stout truck.

Don't lean to hard on the sheetmetal, or it will bend, but the driveline is MUCH stronger for towing a heavy trailer then any pre 1980 PW.
