I think you have to measure the cylynder volume at TDC and BDC as well as the cylynder volume to determine the compression ratio.
I think the highest stock compression ratio on this engine was 8:1 on the 58 Coronet. I believe the compression increase was from a increase in piston height, not milling the head or block.
