...you are correct. What I meant was that once there, the Soviets did not want to honor the treaty and allow the US, Britian and france into the city. The US Army Company, led by a captain, faced down a Soviet Brigade, led by a general. We took our assigned buildings and territory while the general was waiting for instructions from Moscow. I forget the name of the book, but it is common knowledge in Army lore.
