Need advice on fixing pushed in frt bed panel

The front bed panel on my M37 is pushed forward into the cab. From what I have been reading, it has happened to alot of the Power Wagons and M37s. I was planning to heat it up, lay it on top of a large steel I-beam and pound on it (gently) w/ a very large hammer.

I would like to know how you fix yours and how did it turn out?

Also, if someone happens to be going to the Tobyhanna show w/ a good panel or bed, email me with $ and description. I'm weighing fixing the panel vs getting another.
