Eric. The reason that the guys parts book only shows rollers top and bottom as that is the correct replacement. Todays roller and races are a million time better than they were 20-30 years ago and the can take a pounding without being effected. Also it is the lubricant that absorbs the "shock" in a bearing. Want proof go to a tractor shop and ask what is used in a tractor front drive, rollers both top and bottom. As for "short fiber" grease that is history no longer available.
