i apologize if this question is regarded as inappropriate for this forum, i just imagine quite a few of the folks coming here have late model ram trucks and may have a thought.
i have a 1999 2500 4X4. what has been the experience of owners with regard to what is the largest tire that can be fitted without going to a lift kit? the original tires on these things are awfully small, and look pretty wimpy. i think an ideal looking tire might be the Q78 radial mudder that so many have on the WDX and M-series trucks.
has anyone gone to a considerably larger tire with the stock 3.55 gears?
