Easiest way: Check the numbers on the block. If you don't have a reference, post the numbers here and someone will look it up for you.
If that doesn't work for you, pull the plug from the top of #6 cylinder head, insert brazing rod, preferably without flux, and turn the motor over by hand to measure the stroke. I can look the stroke up for you, but I don't remember it right now. Anyway, the stroke is a bit longer on the 265 than on the 251. If it is a 265, cherish it.
