FF Heater question...

OK gang,

Has anyone torn apart one of the under the dash heaters from a 47 WDX? Mine is the thinner one with the silver band around it. Here is my question: How do you get the fan blade off the motor? I removed the set screw off the back of the blade and it still wont budge. I cant the motor out of the heater core until the blades come off. Any ideas?
