Think about this...a stock 1993 Dodge 3500 Cummins diesel with an automatic has 160HP & roughly 400lbs of torque. That truck has only 120 rear wheel hp yet there are very few hills it won't pull that old loader & trailer of Jonas's at 50mph or better & that's with stock 3.54 gearing. 410 gears & it'll pull it easy.
I can't see why a poly with double the HP & similar torque wouldn't be just as capable on a hill with 4.89's?
Even with 1100/16's the gearing is still taller than 4.10's?
