OK, so we agree not to use anything but a serious 12,000# trailer, with good brakes. Tow with a serious vehicle. Observe all the other Darwin factors. But...
Chock the wheels of the load?
Chain down the frame, or the axles?
Lower the tire pressure a bit (of the load)?
Chains or straps? Or both? What size/grade chain? Ratchet load-binders, or the flip-over handle kind?
Maybe we need a link to a treatise by the experienced ones on the forum for us amateurs.
