230ci Oil? Multi vis or straight weight

Temperature range: 0F to 90f, dusty to snowy.

Any recomendations on whether to use a straight weight 10W, 20W, or 30W oil versus say 10W-30 multi-viscosity oil. the manual recommends the straight weight, but I dont think multi-vis was available then.
