I agree with you. Down here in Hermosa Beach, they have crosswalks at uncontrolled (no stop lights) spots on Pacific coast hwy. There are a total of six lanes of traffic and these morons will try to cross at night dressed in all black and wonder why people are trying to run them over.

I have almost got a few myself. One crosswalk has a bus stop so you also have to figure out whether the person is waiting to cross or waiting for a bus.
