I have opened, all had grease. But as expected the grease had slung into a hole around the joint. I too believe that some other form of lubricant was used, yet stiff enough so it would not leak past the felt seal. Marty, have you tried any non grease lubricant yet, does it leak ? Whats the brand/number ?
