Warn hub problem, loss of 4X4 determined

I found that one of the lock out dials on the hub was not in the full lock position. While it was stiff, I could get it back into the locked position and the 4X4 returned.

I don't know if it could have jumped out of place or whether it was never fully engaged. I do know I haven't touched these lockouts since last fall when I set the truck up for snow plowing. This it did all winter with no problem...then as I mentioned, while backing up slowly, the softest treatment it saw all winter, it failed.

We are due for more snow tomorrow so I guess I will get to test it out a bit more.
