Well, the great trailer run is over. 2550 miles round trip in 46 hours. Yawwwn. I am sure some of you guys will snort at that but it was a personal record. I am happy to let it stand for awhile before trying to top it. Got to meet Will Watson in person, (Will (in MI))It is always fun to meet people you meet thru the forum. The 4 trailers I brought back to Vt for resale were stacked up s the entire stack was just under 12 feet tall. Neil and I unloaded when we got back, hoisted them one at a time off the stack from a beam which protrudes from the top of the gable end of the shpo. we hung a snatch block off the beam, ran the winch cable off the dodge up thru the pulley and down to a series of straps on the top trailer. hoisted it up, drove the rest of them out from under and lowered the dangling trailer down, put on the wheels and lowered it to the ground and rolled it off to the side. repeat this until all trailers were unloaded and then it started to snow. We were glad we pushed on thru instead of holing up in a motel for a night. Well, I am going to bed now, and sdo not plan on setting the alarm. Thanks for the well wishes for the trip in my earlier post, Tim
