POR 15 - frame - rust preventer

At the risk of opening a can of worm.... who has experience with using this POR 15 product???

Saw a salesmen beat a section of floor pan previously painted with POR 15 and although dented to hell the coating did not crack or peel and was hardly scrathed...

Need some heavy duty coating for the frame of the "Beast"....will sandblast some but can not remove all rust....

It's expensive and I believe complicated to use ...... so before I glue myself to the floor of the barn I welcome all suggestions or alternative products.
